First of all, I'm aware that this question could be referred to as hostile and disrespectful towards those who don't have a choice, but please don't get me wrong. I have been thinking about this eversince I was a child and I supose most of you have done that, too - at least one time. But did you ever make up your mind? As for me, I have come to the conclusion that if I really HAD to choose, I'd probably decide to be deaf rather than to be blind. Although, to be honest, I still can't really imagine a world without any music nor sound. On the other hand, I guess I just couldn't live without seeing anything, but probably could without any music or sound in general (even though that would most probably make me a sad person for the rest of my life). This brings me to my next scenario: Try to seriously imagine a soundless or even visually blank world. Total silence. Black- / White-ness. So, what do you think? Oh and again, please don't get me wrong: I'm not high or anything, haha. I have simply been thinking about this for while and were interested in what you thought about this subject. ;)

easy? ok, now imagine you wouldn't be able to hear a single tone for the rest of your entire life. "sounds" awkward, doesn't it? ;)

this is a very good question and I often think about such things...but I would chose blindness... everything can be described and along with a sense of touch, you can get an idea of what beauty is..but music is essential, and that is something that you wouldnt be able to visualize to understand...
