We visited BOSIE New York's launch of its first collection of bow ties for men and women. Bosie New York is a luxury accessories brand designed by Shala Rothenberg and Joshua Pearson. All their lovely bow ties, which you can view here, are produced in New York and involve a labour intensive process. Shala and Joshua have both designed the print and the actual shape of the bow tie, resulting in an exquisite and original accessories for both men and women. Their goal was, which they certainly achieved, to take it to the next level and create a bow tie that is not associated with masculinity nor femininity but is an accessories that is suitable for either gender. Our favourite bow tie is Navy Bow Tie with Gold Scarab Print. Here are a few images from their launch event at the Sebastian + Barquet Gallery.
