Pipes & Sneakers visited Bodo’s Schloss in South Kensington, London, for its
special opening night. The owners of Mahiki, Whisky Mist and Punch Bowl have
opened up a new celebrity hang-out.

Bodo’s Schloss creates the opportunity to
escape from ´”the big smoke” to a typical Austrian and Bavarian ski-lodge
themed club. The venue comprises of a cozy restaurant serving the dishes you
would expect to be served high-up in the snowy mountains of Austria. It also
has a bar with an extensive choice of drinks; decent sized beer-jugs; and sexy
cocktails - making the Après-ski experience even more realistic.
Cozy corners; the smell of wood; red checked table cloths; guests
wearing fur-coats and ski-hats; beautiful girls dressed in traditional Dirndl’s;
men in Lederhosen; and last but not least Après-ski themed cheesy music, make
this place a must-visit for this seasons clubbing itinerary.
And for those night owls yearning for more shenanigans, The Brompton Club (who co-own Bodo’s Schloss’ bar) is just a short walk away from the Alpine
themed club in South Kensington. This venue boasts two opulent bars, which
later transform into a dance floor open until the early hours.
The official opening parties at Bodo's Schloss take place this week and The Brompton Club opens its doors on the 1st of November 2012. Make sure to check it out!
